Dr. David Stevens

Dr. David Stevens was born and raised in Scarborough Ontario. He obtained an Honours Bachelor of Science degree at the University of Toronto before entering the Faculty of Medicine also at the U of T. After graduating with honours he completed his residency training in Orthopaedic Surgery in Toronto and was awarded the McNabb Award as the most outstanding graduate. He then completed a year of subspecialty Fellowship training in lower extremity reconstruction at the Sunnybrook Health Sciences Centre in Toronto. He also obtained Fellowship Certification in adult foot and ankle surgery under the supervision of Dr. Timothy Daniels at the University of Toronto.

He commenced practice in Thunder Bay in 1998 and relocated to the KW area in late 1999. His elective practice is restricted to primary lower extremity Joint Replacement, post-traumatic reconstruction and Foot and Ankle surgery including Total Ankle Replacement. He has also trained in Disability Assessment and is certified by the American Board of Independent Medical Examiners. Dr. Stevens is a member in good standing with the Canadian Orthopedic Association, the Ontario Orthopedic Association and the Canadian Orthopedic Foot and Ankle Society.
