Natalia is a Physiotherapist Assessor at MSK WorkAssist.   She earned a Bachelors of Kinesiology degree from McMaster University in 2005, a Graduate Diploma of Education from The University of Wollongong, Australia in 2006 and a Masters of Science in Physical Therapy from Queen’s University in 2010.  She has worked as a physiotherapist in a variety of clinical settings which have included orthopedics, stroke rehab, pediatrics, pelvic health, concussion and geriatric medicine. Her professional practise is now focused on orthopedics, sports medicine and occupational rehabilitation.

When it comes to working with clients, Natalia is thorough and engaged. She loves a good diagnostic challenge and enjoys educating clients on the nature and prognosis of their injury. She collaborates with orthopedic surgeons to ensure that appropriate and specialized care is provided for a wide range of work-related musculoskeletal injuries.

Natalia was the captain of the Cross-Country team and played competitive soccer and ultimate frisbee during her high school and university years.  She currently stays active with running 10k and Half marathon distance races, playing beach volleyball and hitting up an occasional hot yoga class.  She was born and raised in South Africa before moving to Canada in the same year that the Blue Jays won the World Series – 1993.  She Is uniquely also a qualified teacher in Ontario, married to a high school teacher and a mom to a busy and very inquisitive young daughter, so never misses a teachable moment!
