Dr. Grosso was born and raised in Sault Ste Marie Ontario. After attending the University of Ottawa for 2 years he entered medical School at the University of Toronto, graduating in 1996. Dr Grosso completed his orthopaedic training at the University of Toronto in 2002. He completed 2 fellowships, one in hip and knee replacement and another in sports medicine (knee and shoulder arthroscopy). Dr Grosso has been practicing in Kitchener Waterloo since 2003. His specialty interests are in Hip and knee replacement, including revision joint replacement and complex joint replacement. He also performs arthroscopic surgery of the knee and shoulder, including ligament reconstruction of the knee and the management of tendon and ligament problems of the shoulder.

Dr. Hupel obtained an undergraduate Honours of Bachelor of Science degree and a Masters of Science degree from McMater University in the field of molecular biology . Thereafter he entered the Faculty of Medicine at the University of Toronto. After graduating the MD program with honours he completed a residency in orthopaedic surgery through the University of Toronto Department of Surgery. After completing the orthopaedic residency program Dr. Hupel completed a post graduate Fellowship at St. Michaelís Hospital in Toronto. He received subspecialty training in the fields of orthopaedic trauma, upper and lower extremity joint reconstruction. Dr. Hupel relocated to the Kitchener Waterloo area in 1999 and is presently in independent practice with subspecialty interests including primary and revision arthroplasty of the lower extremity as well as an interest in shoulder arthroscopy and shoulder arthroplasty. Dr. Hupel became the Regional Educational Leader for undergraduate orthopaedic education at the Waterloo Campus in 2012.

Dr. Matthew Snider MD, FRCS(C)

Dr. Snider grew up in the Kitchener-Waterloo area and completed his Bachelors of Science in Kinesiology at the University of Waterloo in 1999. He completed medical school training at the University of Western Ontario (London, ON) in 2004, and his Orthopaedic Surgery residency at UWO in 2009. He then completed a sports medicine and arthroscopy fellowship in Auckland, New Zealand with a focus on knee problems. In addition to knee and sports injuries, he has taken a special interest in foot and ankle problems and is a practicing member of the Canadian Orthopaedic Foot and Ankle Society (COFAS).

Dr. Snider has been practicing in Kitchener-Waterloo since the beginning of 2010 with a focus on knee injuries and arthritis (arthroscopy, ACL reconstruction, osteotomy reconstruction), foot and ankle surgery, and hip and knee replacements.

Dr. David Stevens obtained a Bachelor of Science degree at the University of Toronto before entering the Faculty of Medicine also at the U of T. After graduating with honours he completed a residency in Orthopaedic Surgery in Toronto and was awarded the McNabb Award as the most outstanding graduating resident. He then completed a year of subspecialty Fellowship training in Toronto for Foot and Ankle Surgery and Lower Extremity Reconstruction. He commenced practice in 1998 and relocated to the KW area in late 1999. His elective practice is restricted to Primary and Revision Lower Extremity Joint Replacement and Foot and Ankle surgery.
