Bracing Services
At the MSK Centre, we offer a wide variety of custom and off-the-shelf bracing options to help our patients recover from injury and return to sport. We also provide cold therapy Game Ready® technology to reduce pain and swelling after injury or surgery to speed recovery.
What is Bracing?
Bracing therapy provides support to joints that have become unstable or misaligned due to an injury, illness or chronic condition.
Braces gently restrict unwanted movement in unstable joints, reducing pain and improving balance and mobility by minimizing stress and pressure on the affected joints.

Game Ready® Cryo-Compression System
Game Ready is a cold therapy and compression system used to reduce inflammation and pain following injury or surgery to speed your recovery. The innovative ACCEL® Technology (Active Compression and Cold Exchange Loop) sets a new standard in injury and post-op treatment, integrating active pneumatic compression and cold therapies in one revolutionary system. The system progressively increases and releases pressure while also rapidly circulating ice water through separate wrap chambers.
CTi Custom
CTi braces provide the ultimate combination of stabilization and protection of the knee joint. This truly custom-made brace uses low-profile Accutrac® hinges with extension stops to glide with the knee and breathable liners to reduce skin irritation. CTi custom braces are available in 3 models – Vapor, Standard and Pro Sport – and can be further customized with a variety of options, colors, designs and/or accessories.
CTi OA Custom
CTi OA’s composite shells can be constructed with up to 7° if varus or valgus correction, offering a high level of protection and stability for treating osteoarthritis and ligament instability equally. Key features include a Total Support System, Accutrac® hinges that mimic the natural motion of the knee joint and breathable liners, coated with Össur® Sensil® Silicone to improve efficacy and virtually eliminate migration.
Guardian Rehabilitator Knee Brace
The Sport Rehabilitator™ brace was developed for people with knee injuries including acute, chronic and post-operative conditions, as well as various instabilities. This brace offers superior support and stability to the knee as well as the ability to re-establish a normal gait pattern enhancing the rehabilitation process of the knee through a more functional neuromuscular re-education approach.
EXOS Mouldable Casts
EXOS wrist, thumb and arm braces provide fracture bracing and splint support to patients with injuries requiring stabilization by molding it directly to the anatomy for a customizable fit. The comfortable EXOS bracing system allows you to return to your normal lifestyle faster with greater convenience.
There is no cast saw required to remove the brace and the waterproof properties allow for easy skin and brace hygiene, as well as involvement in water activities.
